My beautiful Mia is now in the heavens above,
Smiling with warmth and eternal love.
She sits with the Angels, being protected within their wings,
And she peacefully sleeps as her Guardian Angel sings.
She is wrapped up safely, blissfully unaware,
Of how my heart is broken beyond repair,
For she should be sleeping upon my breast,
But the Angels have taken her to peacefully rest.
I will miss her more and more with every passing day,
But I know she will hear me as I pray,
So hear these words my beautiful one,
“I will love you eternally,” from my heart you will never be gone.

I'm so sorry for your loss. I'm not a mother and have no idea what it is like to go through this, but I have family who have lost their children and I've seen how hard it is. Thanks much for sharing your experience. Best of luck.

Aww i'm so sorry for your loss. It's a terrible thing to have to go through i'm sure... but it's good that she can hear you loving her. Beautifully sad poem.
