a broken swing is like a fragile wing
thrumming through a distant mist of ancient lullabye;
chantecler whispers filigree the scent of pine...--
fragile zephyr
travel moon's first blood
to where the river bleeds her young~~
and there as air and winter breathe
to revel in their soul-full song ~~
we perch a top our mountain crest, far away from worldly throng
and suckle at the inner-thresh-hold
where together, we, my I and Me
mend the fragile breast of womanhood, untold~~
as she regally unfolds.
who but she can slowly reap the seed she sows...eternal glow~
Mother of a child of woe, 'tis time to forest...forever flow
like melted butter over sallow cheek of bitter snow.
Author notes
Especially this part, which is the prompt:
She's a sparrow when she's broken, but she's an eagle when she flies.
