A sweet smile framed under hiding eyes.
To pretend is far simpler than the truth.
A glamour wrapped around her, a wall
of withdrawn confusion.
She keeps out all for whom she cares,
lest she be judged.
Holding sins and sadness close to her heart,
my sad girl smiles.
The glamour veil covers her slender for
once more.
All are fooled.
I delve into her eyes, searching.
To destroy that for which she pains.
Freedom to live, I push upon her
But I am locked out.
Thrust from her mind, out of framed eyes,
I turn away.
Melancholy sorrows surround me.
I weep.
