You found me there
sitting on the moon.
All alone, one
with my quiet solitude.
You pulled me to you
like some stellar sun.
Everything about you
seemed like something fun.
As you sent me flying
high above the earth,
I realized I loved you
because you were the first.
The first to really see me
for who I really am.
The one who would be there
when I was all alone.
The comets and the shooting stars,
just had to stop and stare.
Every moment with you is like
some carnival or fair.
Baby, I love you
believe me its true.
And I'm happy that you found me
sitting on the moon.
