A Shooting Star flew by,
Across the cool summer sky.
It makes you wonder

Wishes are made along with hope
The stars shine brighter
I caught a glimpse of it.
I wonder if it is good enough for a wish.
Now I lay down on the hill
Waiting for the next one.

    This is a delightful little write ! ... It made me think. Loved the line ' I wonder if it is good enough for a wish.'
    Not sold on the rhyme scheme though.
