Words fail to describe
This simple,
And yet most complex of feelings.
Trying to make possible the impossible,
By comprehending the incomprehensible,
And by so doing expounding it unto you.
You cannot know it unless you feel it,
And you cannot feel it without first experiencing it,
Yet to experience it is a journey that-
Again my pen would fail to tell.
I wish for you to know what I know,
Yet that cannot be until you see,
Everything I fail to explain,
In my vain attempt
At describing the indescribable.

Open for interpretation . . . that's part of the poem's beauty. For me, it makes me think of my own efforts in opening up to my new guy after having escaped from an emotionally, verbally, and very nearly physically abusive marriage, and of his patience in allowing me to do so at my own pace. It speaks to me of someone begging another to understand why the words are so hard to get out, regardless how desperately he/she may want to speak them. Beautiful piece!

Could this be...
A way of saying it is Greek to me.
Conceivably with Plato as your scribe,
Perhaps the discourses of Socrates,
Will bring revelation to your minds eye.
