when nothing seems to go right
and giving up us all we got
its only another reason to get up and fight
and we can't let things bring us down
we would never reach out far
learn to fly away from the ground
and maybe we'd find out
join in the pain of working hard for a laugh
and breath in the air of strength
and go out and see the beauty of things
and be the person you want to be
yell to the world: I will make it
find excitement in everything
Tell yourself you've got one life to live
and make yourself go out and live it
untie the stone tied to your feet
and swim to the surface and breath
give yourself time to see
and let yourself feel free
Be lazy, do nothing but sleep
Listen to music, sing endlessly
be who you want; be you
the worlds everything for you to do

Wow, greatly optimistic and moodlifting!
I really enjoyed this, as when I grew up my family always said be who you want to be, do what you want do. You really captured this attitude towards life, in a inspiring way, its the kind of poem I like to read when you are thinking "Should I go for that and just do it? Maybe not..." it reallys leaves you thinking, I know what I want to do and I'll be myself. -
This poem did give me a boost. Like a caffeine buzz. (thats a good thing). God Bless You.
