Through Time

I look with rheumy eyes into this golden  night
draws nigh.  I remember when skies were blue and
the  sun shone brightly.   We were so young;
we felt on top of the world.  We were rich  in Our Heavenly Fathers  love.  We had our problems,
but God  saw us through  everything.   Now the children are grown and gone their own ways.
I am alone now.  My husband went home to  God.
My heart is broken.   Yet, this beautiful golden
night reminds me of Gods love as I feel His
loving arms  wrap around me,
 bringing me peace

Author notes

this beautiful picture makes m e think of the time I had with my husband David, 35 wonderful years. He left Oct.2,2009. Even though the wound is so raw, I know GOD is watching over me.

    This is sad. And though I can see where it would compliment the picture, the whole thing was supposed to be based around autumn; and I am not sure this does. Thanks for entering and good luck. Storm

    TENDER AND SO SWEET!!!!!

    As we all sit and remember loved ones lost it seems our memories are helped back to us by visions of beauty as we look at the world around us. 's

    Mom,

    Even though the kids are gone, you're not alone. You're in our thoughts and prayers daily. We miss Dad too... God will get us through this together. We'll never get over it, we'll learn to live with it. We just have to let God take our hearts and hold our hands and stick together. We just have to lean on each other and on Him. Keep focused on the wonderful time you had... the happy times we all had. We'll all make it!

    Love you,
