"so what do you want out of life?"
to be an army wife
to be his wife
to be a mother to his children
and to write and teach
"that is too much"
for all the things
he has done for me
it is nothing
and yet
nothing i can do
will ever be enough
to make him be
as happy as he made me
"and how will you know when he is that happy?"
he is now
i hope
we both are
"and the pain?"
pain is part of life
"what is th future going to be?"
the past is the future
that has but happened
the future is the past
that just has not happened yet
if i have to have a
future without him
it will not be a future
"you need to stop hiding behind poetry"
i have never felt more open
are we done now?

I love this piece, you are so gifted My Love. You have no idea just how much this poem soothes my Soul... You are always too kind for words love. Excellent write, I also like the part with 'the future is the past that has but yet happened' very poetic Love.
