Epiphany past the Past

my epiphany is not yet true
but i'm heading in the right direction
these blue eyes, once held only for you
seem to be making their own corrections

thou i haven't yet forgotten the good times
the bad times are fading fast
I'm planning the right steps to take
shedding the pains of the past

when your searching for something unknown
there's too much truth in the things that don't last
but the memory of the feelings of the moment
make me happy, even if its a thing of the past
