Memories consume me
In my head or is it real
Awake to each new day
Not knowing not to feel
Looking at you wondering why
You won't stay out of my life
I'm not upset, I’m still not angry
For much time passed by
I thought you were behind me
Memories crawling within trying to get out
Secrets kept locked away for so long
I slip away into darkness
Silently scream within
Grab pen and paper
Put my heart through this ink
Trying to collect my thought
As memories of you consume me
Try it again....
I'm coming back with fury!
