Hi there Sunshine,
I almost got it, most of the words translate roughly to German. As the pronounciations are similar, the haiku has a nice ring to my ear as well as a pleasant image.

Only you would write something like this, and leave me scratching my head. I wasn't even close... sort of.

A beautiful image you have captured here, the true haijin
finds a moment and tells us about it so that we see something
and find a meaning... wonderful haiku...h
gele vlinders
van een tak vallen

Babelfish and me:
wind blows a yellow leaf
or is it the last butterfly?
This will do well with that huge Dutch speaking audience here on AllPoetry.
Maybe the tiny English speaking membership will get a translation?

Very close! Hey, this is a good way to people get to know some words in a different language

How do you say, "The butterfly is on fire?"

Babelfish: DE wind waait een gele blaadje van DE laatste vlinder? -
-
de vlinder is in vuur (vlammen)
DE wind waait een gele blaadje van DE laatste vlinder?
The wind blows an yellow leaf of the last butterfly

Maybe my butterfly had leaves.

Fire is a beautiful word in English or Dutch.
