the lien on time comes due too soon,
the hounds are seeking blood
for crimes of such indifference,
for hearts misunderstood..
the walking widow now must flee
her refuge in the wood..
the piper calls,
the piper calls,
and dons his hunting hood..
the lady of the narrow way
who took more than she gave
has naught but tears her debt to pay,
has but her soul to leave
to mercy in the piper's hand,
pray that it be enough
to sate the hungry pack's demands..
to save the one she loves..
the piper calls,
the piper calls,
there is no other choice
but to face his haunting tune
and grant the song her voice...

The veil hangs dramatically
as curtain on the stage,
appropriate for the poet
who is the epitome
of the dramatic moment.
But now she sings upon the stage...
in fare-thee-well or til-we-meet-again?
"...the walking widow now must flee
her refuge in the wood.."
and leaves minds wondering...
Yes, a haunting piece, set forth
in perfect form of expression...

at the closing of the last act, she will sing her soul..in penance and with great hope and love..and so return to the place from whence she came..too long has she haunted the hills of time..too long..
ahh the reflective joys of internal metaphors..sometimes the only way to express those undertones and shades of emotion,,
release...

Very enchanting. It has that mystical feel to it.
the lien on time comes due too soon,So I'm finding out.

Sounds like the end of a relationship maybe. Though the ending doesn't seem to suggest that. The tone is a little haunting.

little said with much behind?..ah we writers..ever elusive..

an end..yes..to a relationship..not as such..i consider it a prolonged epoch in my life..a drawing near of closing to the second act..with hopefully time for intermission before the third begins..gather ye players and choir and clowns..the show goes on and on and on.
..the piper calls "encore"...
