i want to be like a turtle
and just hide away
from all the bad things
that happen each day
the good being throttled
the bad doing well
really seems this world
is going to hell
my feelings get hurt
but not just for me
i feel others pain
just as easily
is there really someone
asleep at the controls
as evil wreaks havoc
on everyone's soul
it gets harder and harder
as bad things get worse
to not think we're alone
in this vast universe
with millions of prayers
going unanswered each day
where is the evidence
that we still need to pray

Yeah life sure can suck and it's always the good people who get screwed over. It's so hard to believe that there can be a God or anything above us. I think I will just hold onto you tighter because baby you are my Heaven in a world gone to Hell.

It does indeed seem as if all is lost , and hope is just an imaginary thing. So much lying, deception and such in this world of today, one must though recognize the beauty which is still around them. Faith is hope, one cannot see them but feel them come softly into their hearts and lead the way to peace and happiness.
