Dusty Love

Under a flicker of the pales moonlight,
I've wrapped my heart in velvet and tied it with silks
I've placed it on a  shelf of long forgotten things,
right next to my little box of memories, a borken heart and other pointy things

under a magical layer of dust is a sweet nothing,
written in fadding ink,
"You, My Dear, are a pearl of tremendous worth..."
Scattered along on this shelf of the far away past,
is a few dying roses from a love to good to last
