Logically you’re my cousins, and my neighbours to others But put me and you together, and you’re more like my sister or brother Because sometimes for silly reasons, we might fight and squabble and moan But that really means that we just need a little time alone And I know you’re probably aware of this but I’ll tell you anyway If you are ever sad, lonely or just having a bad day You can always come to me, ok, and I will help you out Cos’ we’re mates, right, and that’s what friendship is all about So I guess I’ll bring this poem to an end; it’s gone on long enough so far Just remember to keep a smile on your face, no matter where you are
