It's almost like when we love someone who is mostly like ourself. Love and truth is like peanut butter and chocolate. Hhaahah. It just tastes good together.

I don't care what everyone else says... it's still short.

Reading blind, but I did read the cross referenced poem. This reminded me of something I studied eerrm many years ago in the 4th Gospel- the concept of I am (the truth) and Love in this context which is something that is very different from 'romantic love'.Although I studied this, I am not 'religious'. To be, to exist, to accept life, self is to be part of the one-ness which is Love. This poem is an excellent expression of this most difficult idea.

This is really short, and it's deep, way, way deep. The shortness makes the depth really surprising, and I'm not deep enough to say how deep it is. I stand by my previous comment.

I know it wasn't your intention when you first posted this poem, but woman, you made me laugh! And now, now I have no mind to comment the poem, all I know that it's short

Oh you she-devil and- sayyyyyyyy... this sure is a short poem and it's awfully short too. Are you sure you meant to write such a short poem on purpose or did you just get tired typing? Well either way, it was way beyond my own short span of attention. Perhaps if it hadn't been so short something would have sunk in. But good job because this is an awesome, if slightly short, write.

    your pal,
    Andy

Wonderful write, like a quote and I love quotes. Just opened a page for AP quotes, where a few of my own live. Love your depth of thought and I know you just glow. Wisdom can do that to people! Should you ever want to join the "quotes," please feel free. Again, I love this write. Succinct, yet weighs hundreds of years of experience. Great to meet you!--Kel

Thank you JD! I just realized I should separate those quotes more clearly. The first is the motto of the Theosophical Society, the second is mine; the last two being Jung's.

The Jung quote is fantastic. As is this poem, it's what I would call a snippet, a written thought...a moment and a feeling. Really nice and to be such a short piece of work, it carries quite an impact.

ur presentation here is spellbinding and almost hypnotic

i think we oscillate to the same frequency ... well done very much enjoyed the author comments. I have read some Jung but nearly enough ... putting u on favs ... u delve into the deeper realms which is not so common here

I like this, because it is a reminder that even when we are disconnected from this truth or unware of it, it still remains true. Nice writing.

    Hi gennelle,
I'd think the One love that is all would be the universal harmony that our Creator meant for us to see. Thanks for this, I agree if I've perceived correctly, agape?

Sweet M, what would you do for the Greatest Love of all? Wouldn't you abandon all belief systems; surrender all indoctrinations, traditions, habits of thinking and conventions?

Dear G, this one has me going around in circles! I cannot speculate on the deeper meaning of these words.

Thank you for your sweet and honest comment, allaplgs The best thing I can suggest is to consider the differences between 'belief' (opinion) and 'knowledge' (experience). How do we come to 'believe' (accept) things as 'true'? Which is better; to accept what others say or believe? Or, seek to discover the truth for yourself by experience and direct observation? That's the best place to start...question and test everything.

A poem written with insight and wisdom by someone who is in touch with herself, the world and the higher "things" in life! I guess (if I can alter Jung's words a bit) is not to know love, but to experience it!

I mean I am pretty into stuff and I am smart sometimes, but I just dont understand.

I do know that it sounded good and I guess you did a good job!

    Keep it up.
