Jus'ta Pose

Every time you tell me “cheese”
this is the face I make.
Come and take that picture now!
I can’t stay too long like this,
for goodness sake!

You caught me just as I was launching
my raft out on the rocks.
Quick! Hurry! I can’t stay like this forever.
Can you take the doggone picture,
before my jaw locks?

I know I’m cute
and you darn well do too.
Just wait until I point
that newfangled camera at you!
