See, Grandpa, I got all my teeth
I'm all grown-up, just like you
and now I think you'll agree
I'm perfectly capable to chew
So no more of that nasty
jarred baby food stuff
I want what you got
that lemon merigue fluff
And since I'm a big girl now
I don't feel a need to climb a stair
to get into what is suppose to be
a little helpless baby's high-chair
So Grandpa please do me a favor
and talk to Dad and Mom
cause if they have their way
I'll still be a baby until it's time for prom
.

A very sweet poem,
I'm sure this little girl IS well protected & loved.
I especially liked your first verse.

This is really cute and loving. The imagery is endearing. I like it very much.

Good Rhyme!
Your rhyme works to tell a credible story. A good take on the prompt!

I went and had a peek at the photo - I just had to look after reading your darling little poem. Yup - it fits the picture perfectly well. Nice rhyming scheme and very innovative. Only trouble is that Grandpa's teeth are fakes! Rose.
