Dusk shies away from approaching dawn,
yearning for glimmers of moonlight
as day basks in the lingering cool touch of twilight;
clouds drift from my hopeful gaze
while the morning chill brushes against untouched lips;
the sky swallows an innocent heart,
and my feet crumble as your silhouette slips away from sunrise;
dewdrops on sycamore trees tell the epilogue of Nut.

silhouettes slip? Should it be silhouette slips? Either way the piece is just beautiful. Love the image of a sky swallowing.
