Philly boy, whadda ya’ doin’?
Dese mugliones ya’ been screwin’
Gonna’ get you put down
If dey hear ‘bout it uptown.
Dey made ya’, turned you loose
You shoulda’ jus’ collecta' da’ juice
On alla da westside loans dey made
You suppose ta’ keep ‘em alive 'n' afraid.
You head ain’t on straight
You gonna wind up dead freight
Bleedin’, dyin’ in some back alley
Dropped by a cop name a O’Malley
You been hangin’ out wit’ scum bags
Drinkin’ wit’ punks 'n' pimps pushin’ scag
Somebody gonna drop a dime
Ya’ wind up in a hole wit’ quick lime
Big Tuna tryin’ ta protect da’ family
Momo’s pushin’ drugs an’ he
Cross a way ova’ da line
Ain’t gonna work out fa' Momo dis time
Din’ have no trouble when we was local loan sharks
Now we got phone taps, hip deep in Feds ‘n’ narcs
Big Tuna says ‘time ta' sweep da streets’
Lose da pushers 'n' junkies, lose da heat’
Philly boy, get down onna’ you knees
Ain’t gonna help you axin’ me please
Ya’ bringin' us trouble cross a da’ bordah
I’m a soldier in da' family wit’ a ordah
Philly boy, whadda ya’ do?
Dis time, no way I can help you
Silenced barrel to the back the of head spits
Gotta' ditch da’ gun ‘a my twenty first hit
Author notes
In the 70's, drugs started coming in to Chicago. Tony Acardo, Big Tuna, was against drugs, knew it would bring down the heat when judges kids got on the needle. Sam 'Momo' Giancano went off the reservation and bodies on the westside started piling up.
