Monster in law

I married your son
Because I want to love him forever,
He's the only one
Who keeps my life together.

He's not stuck with me
This is the life he chose,
So why you can't be happy for us
Nobody knows.

You can't get rid of me
With your remarks,
Your words hurt
But your tongues not that sharp.

Judge me all you want
Its easier then to judge yourself,
The woman who lives in mysery
An empty frame on a shelf.

When you push me away
You push away your son too,
But I forgot you can't do no wrong
God should bow down to you.

Heartless and alone
A world you've known for awhile,
No one speaks up to you
They just shut up and smile.

Your son is not a disappointment
Just ask the men he fights beside of,
Lifes too short
For us to ignore love.

If you're unhappy
That's no ones fault but your own,
Your the one who chooses
To suffer and live alone.

A mother in law, I laugh
