we skipped through another puddle
and hushed our laughter in this
unending storm
-cloudy
we fell through transparent rainbows
and learned love underneath the
Seattle sky
-with a chance
we tripped through colored downpours
and photographed memories from
last December
-of rain:
we saw through Hope's empty eyes
and stole more sunsets along the
Puget Sound
-drip, drip, drip.
Author notes
Prompt:
"If the sky were to suddenly open up, there would be no law, there would be no rule. There would only be you and your memories."
