Elaine's Night

Oh Moon,
Your possessing light,
The clouds have covered you.
My dear, I'm Elaine,
Much different from the rest,
Moon, I need you,
To keep the hunger away.
This town, Dorath,
All one hundred beings,
Their blood smells sweet.
I want it so badly.
Somethings telling me,
There is one hundred and three?
Their blood doesn't call,
How are they getting by?
These cramps,
They hurt so bad.
The urge is getting stronger,
My thoughts are fuzzy,
Where am I running to?
Oh Moon! Come out!
I've broken down the church door!
My mouth feels heavy,
The priest is panting,
Flipping frantically through his book.
What am I doing?
My teeth bit through him like butter!
His blood is all over me,
Warm and glowing red,
my arms, chest and face,
Drenched.
Again, I'm running,
You're still hiding.
A few slumber parties,
A couple of newly weds,
Many small families,
Lying dead in their beds.
I know I've caused all of this,
Yet, I feel no guilt.
Just a blurring warmth,
I smile with blood dripping out my mouth.
My black clothes, shining with blood under the streetlight,
I grab the pole for support.
The clouds are moving,
Slowly you look down.
The light, It's back! You're back!
Oh Moon,
Who are the three?
All are dead but them and me.
All one hundred, suspected it from the start,
This dark deed has been done.
Thank you for picking this night,
Thank you for hiding your light.
I spin around just in time,
Only to see,
A man, child, and wife.
The child, as old as me I sense,
He walks up to me,
Lays a hand on my cheek.
"We understand,"
Says the man.
The woman stood in silence.
Moon, who are they?
Something warm and wet slides against my cheek,
Oh dear, Moon,
He just licked my cheek!
I like this feeling,
The blood is being washed away from my face.
Oh Moon,
The town of Dorath is a bloody mess,
Thanks to me,
But,
I finally have a friend.

Author notes

I hope I got the thing right. Most of this just popped in my mind.
