The tears, the begin to fall like rain.
The tears, my God, they're from shame.
Some one who can be such an utter stranger
Has given me such food for thought.
For the first in a while, I'm drained of all explicit anger.
I've decided to forefeit this endless battle I've fought.
No more do razors call my name...
No more, for she's got me crying in pure shame.
I must see the exquisiteness in this life.
I've gone and devoured all my strife...
For the Moment I've been dead cold stopped.
The thought of cutting I had just minutes ago
Has been evacuated from my mind, completely dropped.
For the Moment I feel like I'm sane.
For the Moment I feel no need to slit a vein.
But for how long will this Moment remain?

She's got me crying in shame. With one note written as a poem she's slapped me back into being sane. A mother who knows how I feel. Thank you so much, Hon...Let's just pray it'll last.

I think this is a great poem. I have read several about cutting on this site, but very few about not cutting. I hope that you can continue on this path.

The format in which this poem is written is easy to read the only flaw which I saw while reading was the lack of creative word use but nevertheless is was a good read

This is a well written and constructed piece,well done. Like :
For the Moment I feel like I'm sane.

Like this section the best from your piece, as can relate, when you have coping mechanisms that you perhaps shouldnt, you can never really get ove them, so I like the way this questions that.
