A world of monsters, that's what we are-
every country ready for war. Laws are
made, lines are crossed, people are hurt
and others get lost.
Money is spent on the war machines
youth fight for old man dreams.
The woman lose sons and fathers
too. Broken hearts and bodies
turned blue.
Legs and arms are cut away, with
hopes and dreams to live another
day. Girlfriends cry and children
too. looking for mommy or daddy
one of the two.
After all is said and done, the flags
of monsters fly in the sun, ready to
war again , killing woman children
and man. That is the story and it
never stops. there’s always a gun
going pop!
They say some wars are good
and others are bad. But that's not
the truth- war makes all people sad.
I hope one day we will figure it out.
stop the killing and learn to use our
mouths.

Very good
I really can relate to this piece. I am extremely anti-war. I would rather people talk and actually be intelligent, because that truly all we humans have as a great advantage, then to just torch and destroy our race. Because of what ? Land ? Greed ? People need to to open their eyes and be quick to speak not to punish. -
They say the pen is mightier than the sword and I am sure this is true about words too.I think one day we wil figure it out but who knows when?Montey
