No more love

I thought we had it all,
happiness, joy, merriment,
I thought we had it all,
when I smile, you smile,
when I cry, you cry

then one day you said those
hurtful words, you cut me deep,
you cut me deep like surgery,
I know I was not so confident in bed,
maybe because the days
I tried to have you,
you would question me,
now I'm being a gentleman,
and you call me a weak man?

I don't have time for your trash,
I don't have time for your groans,
I don't have time for your insults,
I had enough

when I came home from work,
there was no food on the table
yet, we were married, husband and wife,
I know Junior's porcelain smile,
and also about Shanice's fake laughter
they had to pretend to be happy,
even when they cried deeply inside,
strong children though

very soon, the smile vanished
the happiness was finally gone,
when junior died,
then SARS snatched Shanice from us,
and we wept till we could weep no more,
looking at you,
would just rekindled the bitterness in me,
and we would argue till thy kingdom come,

I knew it,
our loved had died,
wilted as an old rose should,
then we had a divorce,
and we went our seperate ways.
