There is no touch
(but yours)
that can
turn me
inside
out,
break me into
colours or
make me breathe a
silent fire
what you can do is
what you will and
what you can't
you will try
maybe you can fold me over
when it is cold outside
maybe you can
burn me to the ground
without having to
blink
too much.

Ouch - that author's note stings, says the bee that buzzes more today.....
Spoke to me, can ya tell? Exceptionally well-written, of course!

I wish you were in my american poetics class in my workshop group so I could read something worthwhile.

that makes me laugh in a sad happy curious kinda way..
I feel like some people would horribly disagree with you on that
and I wish more people could..not for the sake of people liking my poetry
but for the sake people being like-minded and open..
thank you for the drop in
how have you been?

You never cease to amaze me. I actually let my heart get broken recently and this just made me feel the wind in my bones. I love that your poetry makes me feel that we are all in this hell together.

wow...
one thing I wish I dad thought to say..
"The wind in my bones"
please do excuse me if I steal that and possibly play on it..
wowwowwow..
haha
I almost feel bad now though..for some reason...
after reading that comment that is..because immediately I felt that my duty to you as a fellow poet is to make you feel uplifted..and now I'm thinking at a million words per second..
I'm pretty tired..sorry if this isn't making any sense...
but I'm glad to know that you're still alive!

I hope things get better..for all of us..haha -

I understand tired trust me LOL.. Thanks for writing and please be inspired!

brought tears to my eyes
some of the lines were... deadly. i've missed you and your writing and it's amazing because i finally check this site and here you are, unfurling words and pushing life inside of them, like blowing a kiss.

make me breathe a
silent fire"

I wish we had a way to talk more...or..rather..at all..
