Pavonine, a bird so beautiful.
A tail of colors,
a tail divine.
Fit only for a king,
in the royal number, nine.
Pavonine, a bird so beautiful.
A call so soft,
It warms the heart.
Makes things visible,
in the deepest dark.
Pavonine, a bird so beautiful.
A bird so rare,
and unusual too.
To see one would be a treat,
And a wonder too true.

It's a nice tribute to "a bird so beautiful." They really are gorgeous to look at, and do seem rather royal.
Do their calls really warm your heart? They always sound like they're crying "help!" to me! =)
Thank you for your entry.
