Deem I Imitate My Savior

Missing image

Lord renew my spirit

Create my heart anew

May I live in oneness

That I might be an expression of you

Deem I imitate my Savior

life in your word may I breathe

A treasure never buried

A parchment of loving creeds

Be my song and inspiration

The meditations of my soul

A diary of emblems

A precious seed to sow

Yes, it does sound like a hymn to me as well. I like the way it flows so smoothly, and song-like. As I read, I feel my heart in agreement with the prayerful request the poem conveys. Thanks for sharing.

    Typos in last para:...
    1] imitate
2] no hyphen in "unseen", I fear.

This could be a hymn I do believe. All you need is a catchy tune.

Sincerity rings through the lines ...A call to dedication to our Lord and Savior...As always your faith chimes loudly for all who read to hear it..
