The sleepy mask,
opened it’s hollow eyes.
The lone scarecrow,
bared its broken fangs.
Awakened.
Threatened.
The mermaid screams,
as I burn her tail.
I won’t weep,
if you leave again.
Pained.
Abandoned.
The thirteenth nightmare,
will steal your soul.
So when I wake up,
I am hollow.
Emptied.
Stolen.
The stars withered,
when I plundered the moon.
Open the skies,
I want to fly.
Cruel.
Evaded.
The night ended with screaming,
I cursed and prayed in confusion.
My world ceases to exist.
Illusion.

Truly a beautifully Mastered Piece,
love the soft flow and thoughts penned
here, but felt the sadness too, well done !
