As I stood in the view of your immortal obscurity,
I can see the blatant emptiness in your eyes as they see right through me.
Impaled thoughts that hide stitches of my epitaphs and eulogies,
to find my unfulfilled reason for doting on my vague memories.
The succumbed sanity of my wasted promises trapped in regretful ambience,
as you kneel on your frayed forlorn that I have assembled in silence.
I drowned in the crucified lullaby of my static screams,
so let this synthetic pretense in this cloak of invisibility be a dream.
The desperate ache to be able to speak in tender patience,
slowly fleets in such a forceful and vacant ignorance.
I trace the whispers of your footsteps in quiet apology,
to amend the unspoken that you will never hear again from me.
In silence, I watch you linger in your world of mortal lament.
In helplessness, I gaze in ample pity as your battered pride starts to bend.
Forever, you will grasp and speak to the emptiness around you.
Forever, I will surrender and linger in the fading prejudice of truth.
Insisting façade scars to mask any tired wounds of muted remedy,
I watch with prudent scrutiny to the beat of your blasphemy.
Souls intertwined in a dream, I drown in the cruel ache of reality.
So close your eyes and I’ll close mine to end this blatant silent movie.
