There
in the bathroom
at the school.
A girl watches the red
pour down her arm
and drip drip drip
into the freshwater below,
into that disgusting bowl of filth.
She pierces her artery
inside her elbow
with the use of a simple push pin
stolen from a teacher's desk.
"Glass or a knife would be better,"
she mumbles to herself, then thinks
"then I could REALLY do some damage."
But no. She must do with this.
