Strike a match
To respond to the bright star's breath.
On the dark and deep water,
The reflections of love
Meet and melt into each other's existence.
Then piece the fragments of starlight together
Into a unique face.
To go far, farther
Or through an unmeasurable distance,
The fire will not ever forget to flame
Over the inextinguishable watch.

I didn't entirely get what this poem was talking about at first, but then it hit me like a freight train so to speak. It made me think of campfires outside at night and how it feels to be with someone you love. A very interesting and unique piece.

Every line every word is more beautiful than expressionn can express it is a feeling to be cherished.This write glows like an emerald in the treasure trove of memories.The entire poem breathes of tender emotions and glows in the resplendence of eternal love.The first two lines are my favorite and etched on my mind's canvas forever.All the best in your contest and take care and always share your writes on all poetry...

...love the way you write ..this is sharp and crisp..i can hear the strike of the match and smell the the acrid smoke....ou made me feel the night,the starlight,the love in the air.... -
