To a Gypsy bird it went

one cold September day
Empty
You had left me empty
all emotion drained away
in this lonely night
Shining
The moon was only shining
Every night in my life
reminded me of you
Over
I could not get over
All these walls I built for me
To protect my heart
Break down
I had to break down
All the walls in my mind
Holding back the light
Sudden
All of the sudden
there you were in my life
shining so bright
New love
I had found a new love
Where had she been all my life
why did she come now
Questions
I had so many questions
Was it worth the risk to take
Will you love me too
Answers
There have yet been answers
To my questions in my head
Afraid to ask them
Waiting
I'm forever waiting
For you to come my way
In my lonely state

I really like this.
It flows nicely, and the repetition of the first stanza as the last I think gives it a dramatic effect.
