Sailing the Seas of Life

Missing image
Wind filled sails and following seas
Mist on my face from cool ocean breeze
Caressed by the sounds of waves against hull
Mixed with the cry of an occasional gull

Clouds drift along, my companions by day
Stars fill my nights to help guide my way
No worries or stress as my ship glides on
Dark thoughts slip away with breaking of dawn

Smooth sailing foretold by sunsets of red
Angelic peace guides the dreams in my head
Destination unknown with time on my side
I’m a sailor of life, along for the ride

At long last I’ve learned, peace can be obtained
Don’t worry about things that cannot be changed
If you follow this plan, you’ll sail a calm sea
When worries are gone, you can finally be free

and the picture actually pales against your vivid words
