theres a twinkle to the stars when its cold out
the moon is big round
like a mouth opening in an O
sparkling serenity
soft slumber
the planes pass
rubies in the night sky
pearls on string of insecurities
stories yet untold
soundless in the night air
tranquility in akwardness
like teenager that doesnt fit in his body
the air shimmers
breathing heavy diamonds
quivers
shivering
I dont give a fuck what you think

I'm already biased because October is my favourite month, but this is wonderful. I loved the images that were popping into my head as I read along - the moon and stars glowing in the night sky. And comparing the lights of the planes to rubies is so clever - this setting came to life right away for me. My favourite part: "soundless in the night air/tranquility in awkwardness/like a teenager that doesn't fit in his body" - this is so authentic, and flows so well. Beautifully written.
