Ghost of Senses

Missing image
Silent heartbeats, that filled the hollow bones of infinite tunnels,
wrangled and screwed my masked Romeo into my abstract memory...
Breath-taking -
As his laced body rolled around me in time and tune to the Godly song behind our own world...
Showing mindless infatuation and disastrous chivalry...

Collided passions and lust are thrown to the wind with twirls and dips
And soft, deadly trails of the fingertips...
As I - Juliet - gasps for breath with every close kiss the music allows for attempted love...
Chemical outburts -
Hungry souls push further past the stars and into the infinite space for  bliss...

The Angels stop singing and the moment happens as two lips kiss...

Warmth of promises that never bend -
Whispers of pure love that aren't pretend:
"Be mine, Juilet...allow me to make you happy, no matter what that consists...
And I won't stop as long as my soul exists..."

What a great poem from a very usual context
it is the art of your poem that you use the simplest way to express
ans when your poems speak it sounds the best
I wish you all the best at the contest

Well I think you should get bonus points just for the picture lol But this was a lovely little poem, and I enjoyed reading it... I loved this line too! "Showing mindless infatuation and disastrous chivalry..." I can say this is very true for many, many men out there - a deadly combination indeed Anyways, thank you for the wonderful contest entry

Sorry that it didn't rhyme enough, but I tried. It does rhyme, just doesn't have short stanzas, I guess. Thank you for the opportunity!!!
