Wishing, Wanting, Needing

As she sits in her darkened room all alone,
There is only thing, one person on her mind,
The one whose heart will always have hers,
The love inside she shows so freely.

Knowing that the love she has for him is true,
Knowing that his for her is too,
Everyday, her heart hurts without him,
The lights slowly getting dim.

She can't help but wonder why,
Why, oh why, does she still cry
Every night, tears stream down her face,
Falling and falling without a place.

Needing him to come home soon,
Dying inside, every day,
Wishing he'd never gone away,
Wanting him back here to stay.

"I love you, Chris" she says to him,
"I love you too, Julia" is his reply,
She holds those words forever in her heart,
With them, never will she part.

Her heart will forever belong to him,
Being with anyone else, would be a sin,
She holds her breath as she waits for him to say,
"I am yours forever, here to stay."
