you will remember me
in times long gone
how I lit up your skies
and turned on your stars
I have something you desire
something you seek to find
something brilliant
you can't quiet put your finger on
caring words and concern
from a heart serenely pure
compassionate and joyful
an undeniable truth
you seek something within me
something I carry like the wind
but it is easy to explain
you do not seek me, you seek Him
you see He is my joy
He is the concern and truth
without His presences I am a void
a distorted and angry youth
His peace flows through my veins
like clear waters in creeks
He carries my worries down stream
on fragile dragonfly wings
so when you remember
who I am and who I will be
remember the God who made me
and gave me strength to believe
