Tennis elbows and shoddy knees
Someone out there, help me please.
When I was younger, I was so fit
Now it seems like it hurts to sit.
The knee cracks we laugh at, through the years
Now seem to cripple and invoke more tears
Trim, taut and terrific was how we were seen
Now it’s just some over the hill, has been
While most all laugh, point and stare
We hide and pretend not to care
Youths been and gone, left with wrinkly skin
How is it, they figure when your old, life begins
This old duck for one, has got no shame
Mutton dressed as lamb, she’s game.
With her tennis elbow and shoddy knees
Only when close will you hear her wheeze

This did make me laugh! Water
skiing did my knees and elbows in.
Had to have elbow surgery, and I
am so glad I did. Couldn't stand
the pain anymore. This is an
awesome write. The ending
wraps it up well. You nailed
the prompt. Good luck in the
contest. And it is good to see
you around again!
