A peachy peach tree in which all the flies coveteted
Was once and been vegetated through an empty floor cupboard board
Out of sight, of his mind
Somewhere beneath the cool winter dew,
Was prancing around a Georgian fool.
A farmer planted a feminized indicus,
In hopes that she would grow up strong outdoors of his lusts
Something took, nothing gave
But his tear well ran dry, ousting her eyes
So wet and yet the dribble ran so rye.
A crook came and lynched what he worked for,
So there went his crop and there went the planter off to the gun store
One stormy and windy night,
After his loss, he made it his mission to pay back the thief for all costs
He seen him again at his neighbors abyss.
Off a country road, out of the far seen open,
Happend to be a gal whose dry heart went elopin'
Across the field, over some ridge
Stood an abundance of workers and tools,
And now of course underneath lies one Georgian fool!

Well thought out poem. But I believe you have one misspelled word, on line 14.. thef.. should be thief. And on line 4, did you mean to put dew.. instead of due.. because dew would be a better word. But other than those little things, it is a lovely piece. Good luck in the contest. Take care and have a great day.

It took me a couple reads to understand but but when I did I thought wow! the way i understand it and do correct me if I'm wrong the Gregorian fool was the one who paid for the crook... I think.
Anyways you did make it seem like a happy story and i loved the peachy peach and cupboard board, it made the reading fun.
I like how you but a different mood to the actual story it was quiet interesting to read
