i hide in my room
i shut my

from the truth

i was stronger than
what you were
but am i

if my resolve holds
if i hold than i refuse
i refuse to die a little
cry a little
longer
no longer than i need to
one day, one day
i'll escape this place
that you made
this place

i shut the door
the one you never walked through
but thats okay
cause i won't
hold out for you
not any more

you've always said

and this time i am

i close the door
i open my eyes
and realize
