Crawl into view
Covering my eyes with blackness
Wails echoing in my ears
Eyes sewn shut
Ears covered tight
But nothing to block out
The memories
He
Left
A whirl of color
Dancing behind my eye lids
Bright red screams
Booming in the background
His
Face plaguing my thoughts
I can still feel
His
hands
Covering my body
Scorching my skin
Defiling my soul
Ripping me apart
He
Stole
My
Innocence
Tiny hands
Faint, throbbing heart
Little eyes, still fused shut
An innocent soul
Gone
Because of
Him.
He
Stole a part of me
Caused the death of an innocent life
And left me with nightmares
He
Is
My
Demon
Author notes
Bad memories.
I had to get them out.
What do you think?

Well, I certainly can relate with a lot of the things said here. There's not much else that I can say without getting superficial or sounding like I'm apologizing. Some day I'd like to know more about you and the stories behind these poems, but perhaps not right now? Anyways, I enjoyed the clarity and descriptive quality of this poem. The raw emotion can be felt in each line.
