Welcome to the kaleidoscope factory dreams are made here
dreams can be seen here
it depends on what you want
it's different for everyone
a hollow tube
mirrors and little bits of colored glass
a peep hole and lens
that's all it takes
you might see what you want
or what you need
just a twist and everything
changes geometrically
bright red yellow green
the spectrum
it's like watching clouds
ever changing ...never boring
always warm
a rorschach of the mind
shapes that lift you
if we're lucky
illusions make us see our truth
our dreams are laid out before us
mirrored sculptures
it's just a tube it's not real
but when you point it to the light
the colors dance
everything dances
a colored reality
dreams playing tricks on us
so just pick it up
... tell me what you see
Author notes
Life sometimes plays tricks on us...a twist of glass
but we decide which is right and which is an illusion. -c

Cold hearted orb
That rules the night
Removes the colours
From our sight
Red is gray and
Yellow white
But we decide
Which is right
And
Which is an Illusion.
i will be at the bar one day dear Irish....
we will twist our lens...showing our changes with every bend of the elbow and every twist of our colored glass....
a prism of lights shines on poets like you....
no matter how you twist it...
you are a poet and
i love ya so my brother...
Never change this piece or your Irish self.
Happy Celtic New Year!

There are times when I feel I don't want to choose between reality and illusion but would rather just admire the colours and shapes for what they are ... beautiful.
An exceptional poem Chuck ... I'm sure you have bought me to your factory before, an entertaining place to visit.
All the best in the contest.

Very deep my friend. I think we see what we want to see usually. Great poem! Good luck in the contest.
