Timeless the pain expressed
in something as vain as words.
Beamless the black of this blurred
ink bleeding midnight of my mourning.
Bring to me noontide bright,
sunlight and smiles to crush
this curse of infliction, howling
its bitter heartbreak in hollowness.
Sketch then instead soft lines
of lament in tender weeping
willows, supple surrender to
withstand the wind of woe.
Paint vivid colors across
bleak horizons that bemoan
tomorrow's emptiness,
this monochrome melancholy.
Let fetal arch of loss be rainbow,
faithful in skies, glistening
beauty and promises in sunburst:
spring's butterflies in pastel strokes.
Wistful the dreams attached
to bygone memories; the hours
indicating hope and harmony;
the moments spent in expectation.
Now all has turned to nothingness.
Life's solar spell an epoch of decay
and shock of frost, winter's embrace.
The lips that once brushed love
in tender slip, are cold, and silent
hunger's passionate heart.
The eyes that searched for depth
in mirrors upon mirrors,
are diverted in indifference.
Love is a cast away;
forsaken and forgotten.
Dumped in cold quit
it whimpers in withdrawn:
word's letter.

You most definitely did. And quite a lot of alliteration, as well. Very good write, bravo, and please, keep up the good work.
