This illusion is ill-suited for myself
Now that I've seen the truth
There's a fallen angel in the distance
He claimed to be sent for me
But now the angel lies motionless
As I am still here, paying for sins that I've never commited
The final look on the angel face was one of betrayal
And I'll be paying for his sins.
Who betrayed who?
Myself, the man who stood by and did as I was asked
Or this angel that gave me promises that he never kept?
Clearly I was the one disillusioned
Gooday, you traitor
For your mask couldn't be glued on forever
To afford hope and to never follow through
That's why my name is on the dagger that killed you.
