you have chrome eyes and thin lips and hair that knows how to dance better than i can.
that's how the story starts; and that's how it ends, because i'm still standing here in the cold october air thinking about how people are born to fall, and he still looks at me the same way; with winter in his eyes.
* the other night he told me that 4 in the morning is the perfect time to walk under stars around the streets of this town.
--
he's been waiting for me as long as infinity with a voice like someone shattering.
and i don't know what to do when he looks like this.
he's always been a star; something so much more beautiful than me, but then again, thats not very hard.
most people are.
-
when i say i'm sad he blows up and crashes in the same breath.
talk to me when your hearts been trampled, he tells me, then you'll know about sadness.
--
i don't love him anymore. i'm pretty sure of that.
it's hard to love drowning people; they always want so much more than you can give them .
and then they pull you down too.
i'm tired of loving stars and constellations and people who are nightmares but still make me love them.
i want to love someone real.
-
this was how lonely i was.
and then i found you.
