They shouldn’t
Make any difference
But they do
Their significance is few
Their role
So anew
Why does she care?

Why does it upset her?
Why should it matter?
She’s upset
By the things
That those people
Beat her at
Although she knows
She better
Than them
And she deserved
To get that spot
That’s probably
The reason why
It upsets her
So much
