Listening to the radio. Our song comes on. I think of you, obviously. That dark night not too long ago, the red and blue neon lights we pass in your car, the stereo blaring. We pass my house. “What…w—go back, you missed it.” “Did I?” you say with a certain air to your voice that I know as the “I have a surprise for you” voice. I sit back and relax.
I wake up when the car stops rumbling and in the darkness, fumble for my seatbelt. I feel your hands on mine. “Here, let me help.” It’s undone. “So, what’s up?” I ask. You lock all the doors and lean over to me. I’m too confused to react. By the time I realize what’s going on, you already have my skirt down and are on top of me. I try screaming but your hand is already over my mouth. I try reaching for the door but my fumbling hand can’t find the lock. A panic attack sets in. I can’t tell what’s up and what’s down. Your hands, all over me, that’s all I know. Then, somewhere, a sharp pain. I whimper behind your hand on my lips.

I will remove this from the contest but i will let you submit another one. remember the premise is about hiding yourself from the world. you put on a face so that way noone can see the pain you feel. this is powerful tho
